Peracid detergent, sold in 10 kg packs, is a liquid oxidizing disinfectant based on peracetic acid, acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide, with a broad spectrum of activity, usable in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and livestock industries.

Based on a stabilized peracetic acid solution to form a broad-spectrum formulation effective against bacteria, molds, yeasts and spores, it is a non-foaming, easy-to-rinse detergent that is sensitive to organic matter and resistant to water hardness.

Thanks to its characteristics, the 10 kg Peracid detergent is recommended for use in recirculating (CIP) washing systems where it can be applied with automatic injection dosing systems. Its oxidizing action also provides deodorizing and bleaching properties.

Instructions for use:

Use Peracid at concentrations of 0.2% to 1%, depending on the type and degree of contamination. Contact times range from 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the desired effect. It is recommended to use solutions prepared fresh at room temperature. Rinse thoroughly with potable water until all residue is completely removed. The product must not come into direct or indirect contact with food.

It is not recommended to keep the product in contact with the installations for a long period of time, especially in the presence of water containing chloride concentrations greater than 25 mg/L.

Areas of application:

Hygiene through recirculation of closed circuits (piping, tanks, filling machines). Treatment of instruments, removable parts, and tools by immersion. Hygiene of molds and bottles (glass and PET) at the end of washing. Treatment of milking equipment in the livestock sector.

Product compatibility:

Peracid detergent is compatible with most materials commonly found in the food industry when used according to the manufacturer's instructions. Do not use on copper, bronze, or aluminum. If in doubt, assess each material before use.

Precautions for handling and storage:

Store in original packaging, away from extreme temperatures and direct light. Consult the safety data sheet.
